Surroundings
Gullabo stuga is located in the middle of the forest, on a dead-end gravel path. To get to the house, from Gullabo, you drive a few kilometers on a gravel road.
From the house there are various possibilities for walking or cycling.
Torsås
The house is located near the town of Gullabo in the municipality of Torsås. In Torsås you can find supermarkets, pet shop, doctor's office, pharmacy, pastry shop, ATM, gas station, number of restaurants, etc. You can drive here in about 20 minutes by car.
Bergkvara
A small town with a marina on the east coast, including a shipping museum. Bike, kayak and canoe rental from Dalskär campsite. Boat and day trips are possible from Bergkvara to Garpen Island Lighthouse.
You can drive to Bergkvara in about 25 minutes.
Karlskrona, Kalmar and Öland
You can drive to both Kalmar and Karlskrona in approximately 45 minutes by car. Here you will find extensive shopping centers, museums, cinemas, restaurants and various water recreation options. Kalmar has an IKEA store and a beautiful castle. Via a bridge you can drive from Kalmar to the beautiful island of Öland.
Karlskrona has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1998. It has a 300-year-old naval base and a well-preserved old city center. The city is surrounded by the archipelago. The archipelago is a collection of small, rocky islands in shallow, brackish water.
