Layout of the house
We rent out Gullabo stuga (110 m2) as a holiday home for 1 to 4 people, with dogs. The house was built in 1800 and has been modernized and well maintained by the previous owner. The height of some of the ceilings in the house are just under two metres.
The bathroom is renovated in 2019. The house has mostly laminate flooring.
Hallway
A heat pump (luftvärmepump) is located next to the door and there is sufficient space for coats, shoes and dog leashes.
Living room
The living room has two 2-person leather sofas. There is a TV with NL / D channels and a DVD player. Some DVDs can be found in the pull-out cabinet.
The living room has a beautiful tiled stove (kakelugn) and electric heating. Firewood is included.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with sufficient crockery, pans, cutlery, etc.
In the kitchen you will find a 4-burner induction hob, extractor hood, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer combination with three freezer drawers, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster and a mixer. The beautiful Swedish vedspis is there for decoration. PLEASE do not use.
You must bring your own kitchen textiles.
Utility room
The washing machine is located in the utility room. This one is not for dog laundry! This is for hygiene reasons and so that the washing machine lasts longer. The utility room also contains various other items: height-adjustable food and water bowls for dogs, cleaning equipment, childern´s high chairs, children's stools and an extra freezer with three drawers for meat for your dog.
A drying rack and a clothesline (outside) are available.
Dining room
In the dining room you will find a 4-person dining area and a number of cupboards. These contain various board games, tea sets and plates. There is also a radio/CD player.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and a small cupboard.
You must bring your own towels.
Bedrooms
The house has three bedrooms upstairs:
- 1 bedroom with a double bed of 180 x 200 cm, consisting of two mattresses of 90 x 200 cm;
- 1 bedroom with a single bed with a mattress of 90x200 cm;
- 1 bedroom with a single bed with a mattress of 90x200 cm, with an adjacent extra toilet with washbasin.
Sufficient single duvets and pillows are available in the bedrooms. There is also plenty of closet space.
You must bring your own 1-person bedding.
Altan and terrace
A nice seating area has been created at the front as well as at the rear of the house. At the front you can sit under a canopy (altan). At the rear is a terrace, adjacent to the kitchen. Garden furniture and a parasol are provided.
Shed
You can use part of the shed. Here you can temporarily store your waste in the various separated waste bins (glass, tin, plastic, laminated beverage packaging and paper). The glass container and other waste containers are located in Gullabo. There is also sufficient space in the shed for storing several bicycles and/or a roof box, for example.
Garden
The garden of approximately 2500 m2 is completely fenced. The fence is made of wooden posts with garden mesh, with meshes of 5 x 10 cm. The fence is 120 cm high. The entrance gate consists of two gates, each 140 cm wide and 100 cm high. See further under "dogs" and in the photo album.
On the outside of our garden an electrical wire is located to keep the wild boars out of the garden. Just to be clear, this electrical wire does not touch the fence for the dogs!
